Hello - day one here
After moderating on/off the last two months I decided that it doesn't exist for me. Taking this as the first day of a new life and one day at a time. I am glad to see many resources here. I am grateful and thank you.

Most of us here have all bargained for the moderation deal. Check out the date I joined..."moderation" turned into What Day Is It???? Where am I at...Where was I??? BUT I found my way back to SR. Welcome Sunshine. Glad you found us! Day 1 of many I hope! Post often.

Glad you found us! Many of us have tried the "moderation path" which does not exist for alcoholics! That first drink opens up the flood of never having enough. The thing is to never have that first drink. Hope you find the support you need here with us.

It has gotten better and better for me.
I had to climb out of a deep deep addiction hole, but the pain and suffering I endured have hardened me.
I will never drink again. It is poison.
Deal w the pain. Eventually, your body will upright itself and sail straight w out any drugs.
Stay clean.
