Day 15
Hi friends,
Happy to say that getting through the weekend has started to get a little easier. The key for me so far has been the community AA provides.
I've railed against AA in my past posts but decided to give it one last try. I think a lot depends on the sponsor. Sometimes the right sponsor makes all the difference.
Feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time. It feels so great waking up on a Saturday well rested and clear minded - at 7am!
I still have cravings from time to time but they have been easier to deal with ever since I started the work with my sponsor.
Just feeling so grateful that I'm out of that Fri/Sat/Sun binge cycle. I feel like I'm finally waking up.
Thanks and will post soon!!!

That's fantastic news. Keep trying until you find something that works and apparently you have. It does feel amazing to start every day feeling good and not sick or nauseated from a hang over. Glad you found something that works for you.
