About to start day 11

So here I am approaching day 11 and ive started taking some responsibility again. I went to yoga for the first time in 4 months which made me feel great. The teacher just looked at me and said " and where the hell have you been" .
I explained that i had been drinking for the last 4 months but i was back on track and she told me a bit about why she no longer drinks.
Ive also emailed about becoming an AVRT/ Rational recovery tutor as they previously rung me up to ask me but i couldnt as i was drinking.
Its one avenue and im looking at others as well.
I feel a bit better today- but i suppose thats because i bothered to do something for myself.
Still early days , still got headache but feeling more calm. Think i will give myself a clap

Congrats on your accomplishment! I know it's not always easy, but it sounds like you're doing the work for a successful recovery.

Great job, keep at the sobriety and the yoga. Taking time for yourself and doing something healthy is always a good idea.

Great job. For me - it took 10-15 days before I really started to feel the benefits of being off alcohol. I had assumed that by day 2 or 3 I would feel great....I actually felt groggy, exhausted, did not sleep as good as I thought I would, etc.
By Day 15 I started to feel better and have felt slightly better EVERY DAY so now at day 54 I really do feel great. Hang i there and you WILL feel better!

Good to hear! I am always impressed by the folks that really get into yoga. I lack the discipline

Keep it up!
