Thought I'd check in - almost 2 years without a drink
So in January I'll be 2 years without a drink and almost a year with no other substances -
In the beginning this place was my rock and my place to go for support. I can't thank you all enough for being there for me - you all helped keep me sober.
In January 2016 I started going to AA and that's where I got clean as well as sober. It's been an interesting (and sometimes painful) journey. Living sober comes with a lot of emotions that shift throughout the day - a hazard I didn't anticipate.
Anyway - just thought I'd check in and read some posts. Take care everyone
