I've just replied to a thread that refreshed an old memory. The memory was of my line managers actively encouraging my colleagues and I to drink to excess. Managers higher still sent us to work away from home billeted variously in a Pub, a bar and a brothel!

So is it the fault of my managers that I'm an alcoholic?
No. That one is squarely on my back. For those with eyes to see my relationship with alcohol was wrong from the age of 16 or before.

Fancied or real....I wrote the resentments down. When I did my turnarounds I saw my part in things and THEN I realized that, many times, I had no right to be resentful.

I hadn't realised there was a resentment there until the other thread.
