Staring my journey
I just joined today!
When I drink the following morning I regret things I have done.... I get myself into debt and ruin relationship. I don't have the strength left to keep on doing it.
I have not been sober 2 days in a week in the last year.

Welcome to SR Kayler.
Have you seen the September group for people who have started sobriety this month?

Also the hour thread where you can pop in and state your intention for hours of sobriety?

I hear you Kayler, the regrets, the trying to remember, the guilt I could go on. Good for you in wanting to stop the madness, it really does get a lot better. Embrace it as it could be a real turning point for you. My life has done a 180 since I did the same as you and took action.
Welcome.
I could easily have written the exact same introduction aa you when I arrived here. Keep going. An hour at a time, a day at a time. Try not to look too far ahead, or dwell on past mistakes for now. We don't have a lot of power, but what power we do have is right in the moment we are in.
Wishing you all the best for your recovery. BB
