Try reading as many threads as possible. You'll find out that many people like yoyrself have found a much more manageable life in sobriety - it is the cure to your sorrows.

wouldn't it be cool to drink some water, eat something, and go to sleep? You can wake up tomorrow ready for your last day one. Just a thought.

I was in a bad spot 18 days ago, and I came (back) here and posted about how much I couldn't stand myself, and a few people said "make today day one. life doesn't have to be this way". They were right. It doesn't. You can do it too. I hope you do. It helps me to read this post and I hope my response helps you.

Be well.

I agree. The best thing to do is to read as much as you can on here. There are a lot of people going through the same thing as you or have been through the same thing as you and they are now working hard and staying sober. You don't have to leave like a slave to alcohol . It's exhausting right? Imagine that sunset with a nice glass of iced tea and reminiscing about how your day went and how you didn't have to pick up.

I concur with everyone here..
Maybe consider some water, food, pouring all the booze out,
and starting a brand new sober day tomorrow?
That would be so great if you did.

Hi Chris I agree, lots of clear shiny water and a good sleep - you'll feel like a whole new person tomorrow.
