May I ask a favor
Just a quick note before I leave for class, my 73 yr old father is having surgery on his cervical spine today.
He's lost 4 good friends to surgery. They either died in surgery or post op (pulmonary embolisms). He, along with myself are a little nervous. He had no choice, he'll be paralyzed from the shoulders down in 6 months of he does not do this. Asking my SR family for some thoughts and prayers today. Starting at 10;30 central time in the USA. Thank you.

It is absolutely OK to ask for
what you/we need in life. And
Prayers is/are always needed.
Just as I asked for prayers this
past weekend for our City of
Baton Rouge where several
of our local law officers were
shoot to death in what they
call an ambush/assassination.
I came here to SR and ask for
prayers and was so graciously
received by our SR family.
I in turn send prayers your way,
as well, for your dad as I hope all
goes well for him and can return
to a healthier mind and body for
yrs to come down the road.
