psoriasis?

I suffer from it its got worse over the last few years but after only 4 days off the drink (8 in total with a little slip up in the middle) I think it's clearing up my scalp is better and my ears are almost back to normal. Just my knees that haven't changed. Fingers crossed the alcohol was what was causing it and I could be on the mend. That would be a big reason for me to keep at it!

I had really dry skin and some psoriasis/rash problems toowhen I was drinking, most likely made worse by the dehydration alcohol brought on. Definitely improved over time once I quit, glad you are seeing some improvements too!

Alcohol definitely contributes to psoriasis in many people...between the dehydration and the allergens, it messes with skin quite a bit.

You're doing great!

I'm glad for you guys. I've had psoriasis since I was 17 and it's flared over the years, needing hospitalization, puva, smelly tar baths and creams. It hasn't changed in over 2 years of sobriety, but I will say, that I think I'm better able to cope with it and I'm not so embarrassed to admit I have psoriasis.

Mine hasn't changed either but, like Leshar, I think I handle it way better now
