Welcome to SR, shannon...14 days sober here and I don't think I'll ever forget how hard those first few days were! There are some great people on this site, if you need any advice or encouragement just ask!

It is rough, but hang in there. Don't drink, go to meetings, and get some phone numbers.. (AND Call them!! ) .. Avoid slippery people and places. KISS, Keep it simple sweetie.
