Today it has been 9 weeks since I had a drink. I find my mind wandering at times still, absent mindingly thinking about alcohol. I really have to stop myself and recall all the pain and suffering that drinking has brought to my life. There's simply no doubt about that. I also need to remember just how hard the work was and still is to remain sober. Gotta stay vigilant. If you're here, with sober time or struggling to give up that last drink... please give yourself some credit... give yourself a break. Giving up something that you are chronically addicted to is an extremely difficult feat but you CAN do it! Not every method works for everybody so just keep trying until you find the one that works for you! Thanks for listening.
