144 days
A nice number. Almost 5 months.
Sometimes I think I shouldn't be on this site cus I feel like there is nothing to report, only a bit flat sometimes.
Just taking each day at a time. Reading everything and anything.......my brain is certainly getting sharper and I am finding my work is getting easier. It's my birthday coming up, so I have decided to treat my self and get another dog to join the family. Looking really forward to picking him up! A while ago I said I loved all things Ginger, well that goes as far as puppies too! Anyway, I am rambling. I'm sorry, just am wide awake but tired all at the same time. Have a good evening SR folk.

Congrats on 12x12 days, zlhzlh! I know I will be very excited when I get to 144 days as 145 days is the longest I have ever had sober since I started drinking. I think it's important for folks to report here when life is just kinda "flat", as you put it. What you're really saying is things are good and normal--and that's what I want from my recovery. While it's important for us to come here during the low times and the celebratory times, the main goal of getting sober for me is to just lead a normal everyday kind of life. The kind of life where I'm thinking about getting another dog.
Congratulations again! Thanks for sharing your life and recovery with us.
