Day 15
Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and still finding my way around. So, 15 days sober today and not for the first time. However, its different this time. Its different because its the first time that I feel fully committed to forever. Last time was a couple of years ago. I made it to 11 months then figured that I was cured, yeah I know :/ I wasn't, by a long way. I started drinking again occasionally for weddings and xmas etc. This led to weekends which of course led to daily wine. Same story that I've read over and over since quitting.
This forum has already helped me immensely over the last fortnight. The first week was pretty rough. Up to 10 days I felt shattered. I'm still fatigued but its more of a happy tired. I'm going to bed early safe in the knowledge that I'll wake up hangover free.
Anyway I don't have a particular question at this point but after lurking a while thought it was time to say hello.

Warm welcome to you and congratulations on a great decision and 10 days free.
I think it's best to keep checking in on your posts and new posts and forums and anything else you see of interest. I find it's all helpful and keeps the goal in mind, our much better life!
Good luck.
xx
