Hello
Hi, having spent a while reading other people's posts I decided it was about time I joined SR. I am tired of waking up with that feeling of dread because I can't remember what I did the night before. I am back at day 1 after many previous attempts to stop drinking. .......I am not going to drink today.

'I' am not going to drink today ... is a great place to be.
'I' am not going to drink today ... was also a dangerous place for me ... I found out thru a long time of struggling that 'I' could NOT fix myself.
I'm glad you 'took the plunge' into the Sober Recovery Community and posted here.
