Day 5

I've got a headache. Feel like I want to go back to bed.

Forcing myself to attend my daily maintanence plan. Heading out for a coffee and hopefully my energy and mood will improve as the day goes on.

This is tiring.

Hi noneever, your persevering is a great thing- congrats on day 5! As time goes on you will feel better. Things do abate, it just takes patience.

Congratulations on five days.
I hope you feel more peppy soon and the headache goes away. Lots of sleep never hurt anyone, so get plenty of rest.
Best to you.

Hey noneever,
the headache is probably just due to your body withdrawing all the toxins and resetting itself. Keep at it and congrats on day 5!

5 days is amazing...you are done w the scary detox...now for the anxiety and crave...it is not as painful...but it lasts a long time...

for me it took months...I am just now really starting to hit a healthy feeling...11 months on the 9th.

Try to eat healthy food. Fresh fruit, veggies, lean protein.

Hydrate, sleep...

Multi vit....

Lite excercise...

Repeat....

Make a new sober life...or you will suffer more and risk relapse...

Take up an old hobby and watch how good you get since you are clean...

Thanks for the post.

I ate a bowl of potato and corn chowder and am drinking lots of water. Bought some plants to pretty up my verandah- up until it's been used as my drinking and smoking 'cave'. Time to transform the area into something beautiful and nurturing rather than a dumping ground for empty beer bottles and cigarette butts. Yuck!

Thanks for the well wishes, they've really helped.
