Interesting...
Interesting...
I've been waking lately to a feeling of being hungover...but obviously it isn't an alcohol hangover. I've been trying to determine if it is too much sleep, too little, stress, or something else. Anyone else experience this? It's interesting to try to figure it out once alcohol is out of the question, as in the past i likely would have simply assumed that was the cause.

Yeah I have experienced this. I don't know how long you've been sober but it can come and go for a few months. And for me, while drinking, I have anxiety which creates Adrenalin. When I'm sober I don't have that same Adrenalin rush so I tend to be more groggy in the morning sometimes.

You may feel a bunch of oddities at first. I'm almost 2 years Sober and everytime I take a swig of Diet Pepsi right after w orking out I swear I can still tastes Bombay Saffire Gin mixed in with it. It's crazy.

I definately notice a difference in how I wake up between drinking and sober. When drinking I would wake up and within 2 minutes, I was wide awake and no way I could go back to sleep. Now when I wake, I feel like I just woke up (which is how I think I supposed to feel). I don't fully wake up until I have a shower and my coffee. Not sure that helps you, but thought I'd share.
It took me a while to get into a normal sleeping pattern, I still wake up tired some days, but I think it is due to normal life stuff (kids, work). It may be worth calling your doctor, maybe your body is deficient in a vitamin or something similar. They can always run Bloodwork.
