Day 25- treated myself
Hi everyone,
It's day 25 today for me and I've had an ok day, I took the boys to the park and had a nice stroll. It was strange as in the past my mind would have been focused on hurrying everyone up so I could go to the pub. Instead I leisurely just strolled along.
As I used to get about £800 a month in debt through drink I thought I would treat myself today and have booked a week in a posh hotel in Majorca at the end of April. It will give me some peace and quiet, (poor wifey she never gets that luxury), but I'm also, while there, going to try to detox from my other addiction which is nicotine gum, I can go through 30 or more pieces a day and have been chewing and in the past smoking as well for the last 13 years.

Hi Soberish I plan to go out a little, I've never been abroad on my own so due to my anxiety am a little worried. I prob won't go far from hotel as I'm awful with directions and will likely get lost. I plan to use the gym, use the pool and have a couple of massages.
Keep going, it gets better.
