A Painful Reminder
A Painful Reminder
So I was at an church to fix their copier. They needed it ASAP as there was a funeral that needed bulletins. No issue there. Once I saw the samples I couldn't help but notice a young lady on the bulletin. I asked the secretary, and she said she was only 37 and that she died of alcoholism. There were no kids that were left behind but she told me that she had lots of friend and family. Reading the obituary after the fact was painful as well. She was one of those people that could light up the world, and that she was such a loving caring person on the surface. However, she was plagued with anxiety and depression deep within. She decided to self medicate herself and became addicted to alcohol. I'm sure a lot of you here can relate and I wanted to share that it isn't too late. Even though the road is tough, challenging, and that life seems to be torturing you. You don't want to leave a huge emotional scar on the people in your life. Just another painful reminder on why I quit 70 days agothanks. Thank you and sober on!
