Recycle Box
I put my recycle box out today for the bin men and this time instead of being full of lager cans and wine bottles, it was full of plastic pop bottles!
I kept expecting the bin men to start cheering and clapping lol

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

This is my favorite topic! People post about it often. It never gets old, taking out the recycling without all the "evidence" in it. Were you like me? Did you "stage" the bin so that the booze bottles were underneath and other items were on top? Did you worry that the items on top might blow away revealing all the bottles below?
LOL, such a height of hilarious dysfunction! And one less chore to sweat!!!!

I had my housekeep coming today to clean and I thought about this myself. I used to make a point to keep all the bottles at the bottom of the can and then put bags of trash on top so she wouldn't notice all the booze bottles when she took out the trash while cleaning. I don't recycle even though I should because they never show up to get it yet are more than happy to charge me the extra fee for the service. So the bottles would go in with the trash but hidden from sight. Didn't want to housekeeper thinking I was a drunk.
I drove past the liquor store I used to go to multiple times a week a few days ago when I went to the dry cleaners to drop off a load. I remember thinking if the lady who was always there when I stopped in early in the morning or after work thought I was dead or moved to another town. She will never know for sure since she will never see me agian.
