Last three words you'd say to your ex...
If God gave you the ability to say three parting words to your abusive alcoholic ex, what would they be? (Took this from my divorce group-much healing there!!!) a little indecisive today so...
I'll start:
I loved you
Gods got me
I am loved
Bye mommas boy
Get over yourself
Bye abusive alcoholic
Bye pathalogical liar
God take you
Find your peace
Finally finally free
Feel Gods wrath
Gods sovereignty reigns
Tell the truth
Praying for you
And.....go!!

Refiner-you are in good company-my friends absolutely feel the same way! Feel free to tell me ex that-he deserves every ounce if it, but remember God will deal with him better than I ever could
The best exit I've ever heard was from a friend leaving his wife. They lived in an apartment and she was threatening to jump off the balcony if he left. His last words: "can you wait until I move my car?" It was parked on the street beneath the balcony.
I think the last words I said to my second husband were, "Take care of yourself." I think the last words I said to my most recent ex were, "Talk to my lawyer."
I'm still talking to the first husband--he called the other day just to chat and catch up on things. We still, after all these years, talk at least once a month or so just to say hi and catch up.

^ I was constrained by three words. Don't fool yourself-if I had more words they would be along the lines of Refiners post oooooh, I just came up with another..."you're a phony". Pretty accurate. Cheers y'all
Mine...
"I SEE you."
Spoken softly while gazing directly at him after the kids had made a stand in the driveway and refused to go with him and he had hurled all kinds of blame my way that I quietly deflected.
As an abusive web-weaving leave-behind-what-I-don't-want-to-deal-with narcissist that hopefully terrified him.
Wonder if that's why it was our last spoken word?
It was a little over a year post divorce.

Praying. Gave me shivers. I SEE my ex clearly as well. Through all his arrogance, narcissism, fake bravado, lies and abuse-I SEE him for what he truly is. My word that I should have used many more times...NO. Just one word-that terrified the hell out of narcissists. NO. Okay, so to keep in line with my original post, "NO, NO, NO".
