I do not want a glass of wine.
A single glass of wine makes my mouth feel dry.

I want 10-
at least 10, but put one aside for last call- just in case.

What I want is suicide.
But slow - and from the inside.

My soul will be the first to go.
Then every thing I touch.
Until I can not eat, and starve, and desiccate.

Or, maybe there's enough of me to breath some hope
onto these embers resting in my chest.

Go on, ask me again.
"Would you like a glass of wine?"

I do not want a glass of wine.
Without one I might just be fine.

Wouldn't that be nice.
