OT - sharing good news
Lastnight at my daughters prizegiving she was named headgirl for 2016.
She also received academic excellence.
My eldest was also headgirl in 2013.
She is over the moon & so am I.
I just want to say to all the solo parents out there that you can fight addiction, custody battles, financial hardship etc & still produce good results.
It hasn't been easy, it's been really hard work but I wouldn't change my relationship with my kids for the world & the hard work is paying off.
Never give up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. My daughter was already a teenage when I started the "solo parent" act, but it's still difficult, and I doubt myself constantly. It's good to hear success stories.
