Hey guys! I posted the other day that I was back, and today is the start of day 4. Instead of wine making me pass out, I'm using melatonin and getting great sleep. Been to a few meetings, but haven't talked, just listened. I can't tell you the last time in the last year that I have had four sober days together, so this is a bit of an hour by hour relief. I'm grateful. Yesterday PMS almost got the best of me, but I thought it through and realized a drink wasn't gonna change anything.

I'm day 4 too! I probably shouldn't liken it to a diet, but to me, the small victories have the same effect, the way you'd avoid ordering fries at dinner when you're trying to lose weight. I ordered a DC last night when my teammates had beer after curling, and I came home feeling glorious. One small win for me. Focus on each day, each moment, and it all adds up!
And here is the glorious morning of day 5. I am sleeping so well and these days are flying by! And the best part is I am able to remember every part of the day! Lol I haven't had to take my anxiety medication at all this week and that is a miracle in itself! One day at a time! Thank you for your nice words!!!
