Support wanted - text buddies?
I would love it if I had some people to lean on with an occasional text exchange when we're feeling tempted to drink and vice versa... If anyone is also interested in this kind of thing, maybe we can chat a bit and try it out?
I've been having problems with alcohol for years and have only recently been able to recognize it as problematic, am making great strides towards a better life and hope that you are too!

When cravings hit I posted on this forum and got replies from a bunch of people quickly. It helped me a lot to get different advice and see what fit me best. I would pull up the forum on my phone and read if I was out and about when thoughts of drinking or uncertainty came.

I don't do text buddies but I'll reply one on one in a PM or here to a post anytime I'm around - like others have suggested, there's nothing like hearing from a whole bunch of other people when you need help
