Relieved by the doctor
Finally got all of my test results back and I am relieved (...lucky?) to say everything came back normal. It took me so long to go see the doctor and I could have saved myself months of worry and stress. I'm filing this one in the lessons learned category. I feel like I've been given a second chance to not slowly kill myself with booze. Thanks for all of the continued support SR.

After so much stress and worry about getting some bad news from the doctor, you must feel wonderful that it turned out to be great news. Congratulations on your health!
If it were me, I would celebrate by going our for a good meal and a movie. Or maybe I would celebrate by getting together with some positive friends and mingling. When I get some great news, the social side of me really kicks in.
Now that all that stress is off of your shoulders, how do you plan on using this positive energy?

Wow...great news Kamm !
I recently did the same thing. Put it off and put it off 'cause I was scared !
I was "Lucky" (Blessed) too ! Everything came back fine !
Then I got mad at myself and decided I had my last "Reprieve".
I'am on Day 4 !

Thanks for all of the positive replies!! I really do feel almost a sense of freedom!
Soberish, my goal for a while has been to complete a sprint triathalon So, with my clean bill of health, I am going to hit my training hard and compete next month.
Thank you again to all of you that put so much time into your SR thread responses. You've helped save my life and for that I'm forever grateful. I'm here (around SR) for the long haul. 40 days down, thousands to come!

Thanks for sharing this DD. The thought did pop in my mind for a split second that I could go on drinking because "I am fine". That AV is relentless.... I've officially squished that idea. Congratulations on Day 4!!
