I haven't posted in a few days but thought I should. After doing a community service job last week, I've been busy with a temp job all this week. In the process of trying to get back in the flow of regular work, my online time has become more constrained.

I like the work I'm doing OK, but it doesn't pay enough to support me and doesn't look like something I'll be offered as a permanent position anyway. I have no car still, so arranging rides has created some unwanted drama. Still trying to hold off until my court case on the 21st to decide whether or not to buy a car, or a scooter. Either way, I have to work!

Still dealing with all the same worries, concerns, fears, and anxieties, but dealing with them with a sober mind. This weekend will be 4 months!

Four months IS fantastic! AND I really respect you for doing the next right thing getting your ducks in a row as far as work, court, and life in general. I have had that on my mirror for quite some time......"just do the next right thing". It really helped

Well, I'm officially 4 months sober now. Seems like its been longer, or like it should have been. In my AA group, I'm surrounded by people with long term sobriety. In some ways, its inspiring. In others ways, its almost intimidating. I know that if I stay sober, I'll get there too, but its so...far...away! That's one of my biggest problems: impatience.
