The Reality Is......
The Reality is the man I love is gone he has been completely and totally engulfed by this disease process called alcoholism.
The Reality is that I am not happy and have not been for quite sometime because I allowed myself to put your feelings and emotions before mine.
The Reality is that am co dependant and never realized that fact until I started going to alnon.
The Reality is that I need to let you go and I know that's going to be one of the hardest an most painful things for me to do because am still in love with you.
This is just a poem I wrote about my current reality

GC- We all feel your pain, and I am sorry!! I'm not sure if you are religious, but I try and tell myself that this is God's plan for our A's. We have no control over anything, God does. As painful as this is we have to let it happen, the way it's suppose to!!
