Has anyone noticed if someone who normally drinks beer everyday suddenly stops I've read this sometimes happens when a person starts using meth ?

My son used to drink heavily but cut down drastically when he started using meth. Not sure if that is typical.

I'm not sure of any studies on this but my exAH quit drinking altogether (or at least in my presence) recently. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's involved with meth somehow for other reasons, so maybe coincidentally, it seems like his suspected meth use coincided with him quitting drinking.
