Family Member of Addict
New here but not new to forums/face2face meetings that support family members of addicts. I am 63 yr daughter caring for 90 year old mom (enabler and addicted to drug addict son) with 60 yr old life long opiate addict brother. We all live in separate apartments in same small family home. Wish I did not have to deal with brother's behavior on top of care giving for mom. But cannot walk away from mom and live with myself. Extremely difficult situation but getting as much help as possible. Seeking a supportive, understanding community so I do not feel alone in this. I read the posts on this site for family members and would like to be able to participate there but the site would not let me do so. Hopefully I will be able to. Thanks.

Sorry that you are going through such difficult times.
Make sure that you take care of yourself Jen as you have a right to a life as much as anyone else
