Drying Out, Literally
Drying Out, Literally
Hello All,
I am not looking for medical advice, just wondering if any ex-alcoholics are experiencing seborrheic dermatitis and blepharitis caused by SD.
I'm over 100 days sober and my face is getting dry. Also causing my eyelids to be very red because I'm not producing tears like I should.
I have spent hours every night reading on the internet about this and all I get is that there is no cure and it could last my whole life.
I guess I really am just hoping it's because I quit drinking and my liver is just flushing toxins, causing the flare up.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thank You.

I diagnosed myself Scott. I know. The symptoms and pictures are dead on,
I also can't afford to pay doctors and specialists to guess and do trial and errors, especially when it's something that can't be fixed completely.
I'm just curious if it's common amongst alcoholics before I start changing my lifestyle.
