Hi All,

Newcomer here - have been on the road to cutting back so many times. Just tired of the cycle. Sure you all know what I am talking about.

Look forward to sharing more on my road to recovery!

Welcome nikolai8. I tried cutting back/moderation for years too an it never worked. Glad you are here, hope you can stay with us on your journey.

Try to cut back was like the death of a thousand cuts for me. It was agony.
Have you thought about not drinking at all?

Welcome Nikolai, I never could moderate my drinking. Until I quit entirely, I was miserable.

Hi Nikolai - welcome here. Feeling trapped by alcohol is a difficult life to live. There is a lot of freedom in sobriety. Wishing you the best.
