So sad
I received a call yesterday from a friend . Her 27 year old daughter committed suicide this week. I am at a loss words This beautiful young girl suffered meth addiction, she was also 2 months pregnant . The anguish & pain in her voice was heart wrenching . Praying for this family & there healing . I hate drugs !!!! They steal our loved ones & destroy lives !!! So so sad for this family 😞
Katie, I am so sorry and my prayers go out for your friend and for you too. It is tragic each time an addict dies, for them and for all who loved them.
I hate addiction and what it does to our loved ones and what it does to us.
Hugs

Katie, I am so sorry .... words just cannot express how much I hate drugs .... such a senseless tragedy. Sending wishes for strength and comfort, for her family and you and all those who love her. I cannot imagine their pain.
It is soooo sad to hear about how addiction
takes away folks no matter what age. So sad.
Then to reflect that very moment 24 yrs ago
when I wanted to end my miserable failure
of a life as a mom, wife and being powerless
over alcohol.
Thank God my family intervened on me
getting me help I so desperately needed
at that time in my life.
Today, it is my responsibility like so many
others in recovery that have learned to
remain sober or clean for long periods
of time to PASS IT ON, sharing my own
ESH - experiences, strengths and hopes
with others struggling with addiction about
what it was and is like before, during and
after alcohol.
I want to be an advocate, one small
voice amongst many helping others
learn how to live life without dependency
on a dangerous substances that could
and would end life.
One small voice with many others can
help and make a difference in life or death.
