Well yesterday I almost threw away 16 days without a drop, BUT, managed to talk myself out of it! I have a huge problem if I have money available to me & Im out on my own. I knew hubby had a meeting yesterday & I'd have about 45 mins on my own so I was intending on nipping to Tesco while I was waiting for him, regardless of the fact that I had work in the evening.
Anyway, after about a 20 minute mental struggle with myself I picked up my phone & transferred my bank balance into hubbys bank. Initially I felt annoyed at myself for doing it as I knew I now couldn't have a drink, but after about half an hour I'd forgotten about it.
I spent the time waiting for hubby reading & people watching, which can be quite good fun sometimes.
I'm pleased with myself for not doing it because 2 weeks ago I wouldn't have given it a second thought & just went ahead. But theres still that AV egging me on.....
