Time heals, Vale, and your kindness has healed many here so hugs back to you for bringing your light to shine brightly here.
We don't forget the past, but there comes a time when we can take the lesson it brought us and leave the pain behind.
You are wiser today (note that I did NOT say older), and you are stronger for the journey. And the best part is that through this all you did not lose your sense of humour.

(((Vale)))-you have been so wonderful to me...and although I didn't realize it was 7 years precisely...I knew that you had a lot of recovery in you...because you knew how to respond to me according to each post...encouragement, wisdom, tough honesty...and I responded because I want that recovery too...for me.
Your sense of humor is fabulous (know this about me...am a Very SEWIOUS person...and part of my family wounding is having been told from childhood)--so you give so much light and laughter that I am unable to partake of in other arenas in life...and yet...it always has a message. I will always be grateful for this...people who can make me laugh and enjoy are very few and far between so it is easy to remember them.
So glad and privileged to have you here.
