Nice work Buggirl!
I too was worried what would happen when I went camping with my friends. We have camped and rode motorcycles together for twenty years. I'm the only one who doesn't drink. I think since I was open and honest about it they were very supportive and I had no problems at all.
The same went for seeing live music. We can still be committed to sobriety AND our passions.
Keep up the good work!

130 days is wonderful Buggirl - we're so proud of you.
I remember having drinking dreams for a few months. They eventually stopped as I got used to my new life. I worried about social situations too - but I never caved. I felt a little resentful at first - but that feeling went away as I began to appreciate enjoying life with a clear head and no regrets. It's an adjustment, there's no doubt - but you have a great attitude, Bug.

Way to go BG. I also had some favorite drinking type activities - camping and motorcycling like Muddy mentions, and also international travel. I waited until I had over 6 months sobriety before I attempted either, and it was fine. Yes, that first year the AV stilll popped in from time to time but by gradually exposing my self to drinking situations and building my personal sobriety toolkit, it never became a problem. My suggestion is to give it time and don't push too quickly on situations that will be known triggers. Sobriety is worth it.
Nice work on the 130! Great accomplishment, thanks for sharing the milestone! I am 2.5 years sober and still have the odd drinking dream once in a while...but they are few and far between. For me, they came in bunches and then slowly died off, I am sure that they will stop for you as well. On the plus side, it's always good to shake it off and remember it's only a dream and not reality! Congrats again!
Great job Buggirl! 120 days is awesome!
Each new season brings with it new challenges that we must face as we encounter activities while sober that we previously associated with drinking. It's uncomfortable and you may have urges but you are doing the right thing by planning in advance how you will handle it. When you hit a year, you will have navigated the biggest hurdles.
You are doing really well! Thank you for sharing.
