I was looking through some stuff related to my religion studies, and found something that I thought I would share with all of you. This is supposed to be what you learn in the first year of study and I found the resemblance to recovering from co-dependance remarkable.

RESPECT: for the interconnection of all life and for yourself
THOUGHT: how you can change your life by changing your thoughts
EXAMINATION: looking within yourself for answers and solutions
RELEASE: letting go of old habits and emotions that no longer work
SYSTHESIS: how an individual can also be part of a whole
CREATIVITY: trusting your intuition to help you make viable choices
ACTION: learning how to act rather than react
LOVE: being able to give and receive healthy love
STRENGTH: inner courage to overcome circumstances
TRANSFORMATION: the realization that only you can change what is not working in your life. Only you can make your life what you want it to be. And only you, through difficult, messy and lengthy work, can make your life one of love.

Now I know it doesn't all apply, I just thought I would share this and it helps me to realize that my HP is guiding me through this messy process of "fixing" myself and becoming the person I want to be.
