I'm an alcoholic, I've decided to join as I'm about to become sober, for me and most importantly for my family. I'm scared and worried just thought id join for support of people going through the same as me.

Confused over the "about to become sober."

Have you stopped already? No better time than the present. And if I may add, doing it for yourself is more important than any other reason.

I like your attitude.

I drank for decades & was so afraid I'd never be able to let go. The people here helped me get through the rough early days. It helps so much to know we're not alone with this. You're about to have a whole new life - it feels wonderful to be free of it.
