New is scary
New is scary
This is a new one for me. I am a recovering alcoholic. Just over 6 years. I tried a couple of days ago to come online but I chickened out. But today I had a flash.. an ugly one. I for a brief moment actually thought about going out for a drink. I haven't been there for many a year. Scared the b-jesus outta me. But since I've had a lot of firsts in my time I figured I could do this first too. So here I am. Be gentle. LOL
Welcome and congratulations on the years collected.
You will find many wonderful people here. We don't bite
*well maybe just that one person over there....>* *LOL*
Pull up a chair, look about, ask questions if wanted.
Most of all enjoy. There is much here and I am sure you will like it.

Welcome
Glad to have you here. I'm pretty new at this myself but I have already made some friends here. I only have 43 days clean and sober today, but I can tell you that my life would be much worse if I was still using.
Lots of friendly and helpful people here. Keep comming back.

Welcome Nettie, I'm Marty. I'll admit I "lurked" here for a good while before I actually posted somthing. Being social - even in an ananymous fashion like here - can be difficult for some of us. We are here to support eachother through the journey of recovery from our various addictions. Welcome
