Sometimes My words work better as poetry
Sometimes it's hard to put into words how I feel about the treatment I get from my family. So instead of typing a long post I decided to post a song I wrote that kinda fits the whole ACOA thing

Must you always treat me
As If I were nothing to you
Must I be the one to suffer
The pain that you give me
I try to stand tall in furry
But I always seem to fall
Victim to the storms
Chours
The rage of your heart
Is Just like a wildfire
Burning out of control
Nothing can stop it
When it's at it's worst
Why do I have to feel
The flames first?
Why do the words
Hurt worse then a slap
Must you ruin my life
With every step you take
Why do you bury me
With Your Hate
Why am I the one?

Hi Kc ... Awesome, and I know what you mean!! I am the same , I saved all my poetry and recently made my own .com.. I am new to this forum, came from a family of alcohilcs and have an alcholic roomate.. funny how you say it so well... see my other posts, or my profile for my homepage... loved your song!!
