I was walking around... going nowhere...
... with a drink in my hand and now THIS! Wow!! I couldn't imagine, at first, when I completely stopped drinking that my brain was going to like this recovery mode that much!
Day 46 today...
And I had these amazing dreams for the past couple of years, that I could do this and that... it would be so amazing if I could complete that, etc etc etc... All these dreams / goals that seemed to be so far away, out of reach...
And then sobriety came into my life...
- I'm registered to some university courses that will help me grow my business even bigger.
- I'm fully focused into my training and I decided I was going to complete my first full distance Ironman at the age of 40.
- The creativity and vitality that I have everyday at my job is crazy awesome
- People around me keeps on asking me why I look fitter, what have I done to look younger in a few weeks, etc...
At the beginning, when I wanted to stop drinking and didn't know if I wanted to have a life without alcohol, knowing that I was going to feel this GREAT after 40+ days......... I wouldn't have hesitated 1 second.
Now I'm still walking around... but I'm moving forward in my life... feeling like I'm reaching my full potential has a business owner, a dad and a husband!!
Life is great!
Thank you for listening (reading) and I hope that my message will inspire some lurkers to finaly stop the abuse! There is a life waiting for you...
