The worst day

Today alcoholism cost me the most. My wife and I filed for divorce. I have lost my true love and my best friend.

I'm sorry for your pain Done.
Lean on the support you have here.

The worst day will lead to better days, I promise.

I hope in time you'll look back on this as a turning point.

Hello Done70, Alcoholism sucks. Just when you think you can't get any lower, you get lower. If you decide to do something to turn things around, you're in the right place. Read & post often. Ask lots of questions. Good luck.

I'm so sorry. Are you getting any support for your drinking and also emotional support?

Hi Done70, I'm so sorry to hear about your divorce. Like others have said, hopefully you will use this as a turning point in your life. I'm sure you're feeling really low right now, but please remember that we are all here to support you in your sobriety. Take good care, and keep posting.
