Day 5 and the fog is lifting

Today I have 5 days sober. I am starting to feel like 'my old' self - before alcohol took over.

I had short term memory loss for a few days, felt anxious, and did not sleep well, but all of that seems MUCH better today!

My weekend was full of household chores and a movie with ROOTbeer and

! I forgot how much I could accomplish when I don't start drinking at noon.

Thank you so much for this site! It is helping me a lot to see so many stories similar to my own and to know others are struggling just like me!

Congratulations on five days....so nice to wake up feeling good too right. On the weekends I was generally a six pack in by noon! Keep on keeping on.
