Concentrate on those 4 months and how good you felt - you can get that back You're going to feel naff for a few days, but then it'll all be yours agan - the peaceful sleep etc.

Hang in there x

In my 20's, I could drink until 2am and get up 5 hours later for work no problem. As I entered my 30's and my drinking became daily, I was a miserable mess every day and could barely function. My last relapse took a week to recover from. Our bodies just aren't designed for prolonged alcohol use and we will break down.

Be gentle with yourself, tonib. Pay attention to the fatigue and take it easy; go to bed early; take a warm bath or two; sip some soothing warm drinks. This should pass soon.

Your body gets used to and depends on the poison after a while. You get clean for some time then pour solvent down your throat and it reacts the way it is supposed to.

Answer is--- Don't pour solvent down your throat.

Good luck! You can do it!

Hang in there, the body needs to repair and heal, it's going to take time, but you'll get there!!
