Just got my car insurance bill

and I don't know what I'm going to do.

And no, it's not high because of infractions or anything like that. It's just that I'm completely out of money and I'm not working.

I don't know what to do. I'm looking for work, but if I have no insurance, I'd be in deep trouble if I drove to a new job with no insurance.

Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my financial woes.

Something has to turn around soon.

I'm sorry you're in a tough situation.

Is it possible for you to move to an area where public transportation is available?

Anna had the same thought I did - hows the public transport in your neighbourhood?

It took me a long time to dig myself out of the financial hole my addiction had left me in - but bit by bit you will CMG

Take a look at TaskRabbit - I made pretty good $$ on there when I was between jobs.

I rode around on a motorized bicycle for a couple of years. No insurance required.
Not a lot of fun.
But I prefer it over public transportation.
Cheaper and faster.

Between Gippy and Dee, I just can't take the problem seriously!

But,
I thought I would never get out of the hole I was in.
Slowly, but surely..... I am getting there.
And, a lot less likely to get in there again.
Good ideas, public transport, shop around online (halved my car insurance),
and, breathe.
It will be OK.

I can barely afford food. I just stay sober and humble myself when I need to. I still get fed. In the end I need love and water and food. The rest is things for my ego. I needed to humble myself in sobriety.

Just hang in there, don't let it bring you down. Could a family member or friend help you out with the insurance money until you get on your feet?
