Hamartia

You know how it smells when rain slowly falls on a dusty road on a hot summer day -- I love that! I am thankful for the obstacles I have had to face, they have made me stronger; I am thankful for my beloved friends; and I am most deeply grateful that God has not given up on me. This obstacle, alcohol, I now face, is perhaps the hardest that I have had to overcome. It doesn't let go easily. God will help me with this, and for that I most grateful.
