Really good and useful stuff - thanks Soberwolf. I've been doing many of these, nearly all of them really, during the past nearly 8 months of my sobriety. Some of them already before in the past few years but they were not enough by themselves, I needed to add more. I think that on the level of the individual, the key is to find the right combination of these methods and actions.
Should be a sticky posted directly (the text, not just as a link) maybe!

SoberWolf...I don't know how to thank you. You are so often present in the discussions that I get involved in and i am so grateful. You seem to have so much calm, so much wisdom. I can only hope that i can get there, too. I am so grateful...
Thankyou so much Soberwolf..I have booked marked this. Im right at step one ..... focusing completely on getting through one day at a time.... at day five ... although I am starting or returning to some of the other points as well.....like my love of sewing....and endeavoring to take my eight legs and their wagging tails on a walk each day. We went for a long work this morning and was exhilarating as a storm was building up.
I need these today. I feel like it's been a few weeks and now I am looking for an excuse to drink this weekend. I've done great - working out, eating better, time with my family. But there are some other big pulls this weekend and I need to buck up.
Thanks, soberwolf.
Beth
