9 months sober
Hi everyone,
9 months sober this week. It's hard but worth it.
Just joined a gym, ache so much I couldn't pick up a drink even if I wanted
(which I don't, noy ever).
Trying to sort things out with Becki my wife, we both have to live with me getting used to dealing with things without drinking, so can be a bit moody and totally unfair. I'm learning how to deal with me. Getting better all the time
Thanks for everyones help

Ain't it grand we learn to laugh again. Something in the alcoholic dilemma I never realized was I was lacking until I was given the gift of sobriety.
Congratulations

Good going!
hiney-
Wow 9 months! Good going! Keep up the good work. I know from past experience that working out is a great way to relieve tension. Finding other avenues to vent, and also to get comfort seem key. I hope it is true for you, it is for me, that working out keeps my bloood sugar levels and body chemestry in general on a more even level... so I get less mood swings. Best wishes on your journey. Stay sober and keep working out.
