Thumbs up

HI Lion,
I started seeing a therapist last week. I've always resisted going this route, but I figured why not try it out. Something else to put in the tool box to help fight the "Beast". My first appt. was great, I was able to spill my guts to someone (other than my wife) one on one. It felt good and am looking forward to my next session. Don't sweat it, hope you have as good an experience as I did. Take care.

That's great news!! Top tips (not that you asked for them, but anyway...): do not, under any circumstances, attend the session with any amount of drink in you. From experience, this may make you feel more at ease to disclose information more freely, but also from experience, it makes it much, much harder to allow the therapy to actually help you.

I wish you the very best and am very glad you are taking this step!

Good for you Lion. Should be worth your time and money, but if it does not feel right, then get a different person. Good Luck.
