day 25

I made it through another weekend.... i almost had that thought of " u have been doing so well u deserve a cigarette and drink, u can handle it now" but i knew it was the booze talking an ignored it... whew close call tho i almost fell for it

Ok, tonib, don't take this the wrong way. And remember, I am not a doctor (and I don't even portray one on tv). But, IMHO, if you can stay sober for 25 days, you can be sober forever.

It was at about Day 25 that I decided that I was capable of doing this - forever.

Is today perhaps the day that you make the same determination? When I finally, mentally, closed the door on alcohol, it made those periodic AV tricks easier to ignore.
