Day 19 BLUES???

Day 19/20 - My family weekend went well - I was nervous at first but controlled myself. I think eating well and vitamins / supplements have helped!

One thing I am still feeling every day / a couple times a day is depression.

Then I snap out of it ! I am also tireddddddddddddddddd

Also I do not crave the drink at all ...for me it was to control and numb my anxiety and nervousness.

Started working out on the treadmill 1.5 miles a day 30 mins - I know it is not much but it is a start.

Do you think it's early still and I should wait about my depression haze? or see a DR? It is not SEVERE , But concerns me a bit. Although I don't know if I would like to take meds unless it was a safe one ( are there safe ones?)

Much love !

For me 3 weeks in was still early days, physically and mentally, I was still adjusting!!

Give yourself more time, I really started to feel a bit more positive about things after a couple of months!!

Hang in there and keep pushing through!!

I agree with PurpleKnight (as usual). I started feeling like a normal person between two and three months.

I say more time too and 30 minute walks will make a huge difference. Don't undermine your accomplishments.

every 30 days our bodies change; in early sobriety (the first year for me, maybe even the first 18 months, I felt like this)....stay stopped, it keeps getting better!

this may happen right before each 30 days for a bit, maybe not.... you can get through this!!!

I'm just over a month. Not a whole lotta mojo generally..but there are certainly really lovely days. Recovery takes time. Constant consciousness can be exhausting : ) Don't be so hard on yourself. It's gonna take awhile....

Thank you !! I felt the depression feeling again today. I took a nap when I woke up it was gone. The rest of this evening has been good.

I know it is one day at a time!
